CIBER Success Stories

FDIB to Eastern Europe from the University of Florida

Beginning on May 15, 2004, program participants will take an 11-day trip to visit the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Russia. Participants will develop an understanding of regional business and economic integration issues among these markets. This program will also examine the relationship between these markets, world markets, and other regional markets, such as the European Union. The trip will involve lectures on economic and business conditions, group seminars, and company and governmental visits

"The speakers were very knowledgeable and presented a variety of viewpoints and the factory tours added an 'up close and personal' feel... It is one thing to read about the Kremlin and Red Square, quite another to actually be there."

Dr. Stanley K. Smith Director, Bureau of Economic and Business Research; Professor, FDIB to Eastern Europe
