Global Entrepreneurship on-line course taught by Dr. Kelly Jett Murphrey from Texas A&M University

Dr. Murphrey,

I am a business student in Marketing and International business with a minor in French at Texas A&M and just finished up your Global Entrepreneurship online course this past semester.

My company will be giving guided tours of the city of Nice on relatively new technological advancement, which is called a Segway and is type of scooter that allows one to stand upright and still and move at speeds of up to 15 miles per hour.

I actually had absolutely no idea that I would be doing this when I signed up for your class and only came across the opportunity a little over two months before the end of the semester. Your class has already been of great help, especially in getting a business plan together and things to keep in mind when doing business abroad. I am currently deep in the process of starting a my own business in the tourism industry in Nice, France. I came across this wonderful opportunity about two months ago and, as it was my dream to start my own business, I could not let the chance pass me by without a try. I know that there is a wonderful potential for this business and actually have letters of intent from cruise company contacts through, Royal Caribbean, Oceana, Radisson Cruises, and Wind Star Cruise Company once I am able to begin operations. There is also a great chance for exponential growth through the cruise lines and other clientele bases within this highly traveled region of France.

Your class was a great one to take and helped me a great deal once I started using the aspects of the class in 'real-life' business.
