January 4-15, 2010 - University of Connecticut This program has been designed for faculty from business, foreign languages, and international studies to provide the participants an in-depth understanding and insights into various aspects of life in an emerging country. India is the fourth largest economy in the world. With one billion people and a growing economy, It has emerged as a significant player on the world scene. The program comprises lectures, discussion sessions, visits to companies, and opportunities to interact with management faculty and students. The speakers will be drawn from business, government, mass media, and academics. A trip to the Taj Mahal and a sightseeing tour of Delhi are included in the program. |
