International, Interdisciplinary Conference on Muslim Asia:
January 20-24, 2008  - University of Hawaii at Manoa

This conference aims to bring together a diverse group of academic and professional experts, singly or in panel format, for presentations or discussion groups that analyze, explain and/or interpret the various professions--medicine/health, business, law, sciences, engineering, communications/media, architecture and the visual arts—within the framework of Islamic Asia’s current economic, social, political and cultural environment and regional/international setting. A major objective is to unveil ongoing research and activities examining country-specific and regional developments in Muslim Asian nations.
